I'm uncertain (well, getting certain actually) of how effective this site is in helping people make connections", myself. There are lots of sites out there that are "thin" at best in that department. I'm just trying to get a feel for how active things are in my area (MN), and so far it's...thin. But the jury is only 90% in.
